Sounds Familiar?

You brush twice a day... but your breath still isn't fresh.

Maybe your gums bleed every time you brush.

Maybe food keeps getting stuck between your teeth—especially if you wear braces or aligners.

You're Not Alone—This Happens to Almost Everyone.

The truth is, you're not doing anything wrong. A toothbrush simply can't reach deep between your teeth or below the gumline—where bacteria, plaque, and trapped food love to hide.

Frequently Asked Questions

Follow these simple steps for effective water flossing:

  1. Fill the water tank with clean, lukewarm water and make sure it is securely attached.
  2. Attach your preferred nozzle firmly to the OraJet.
  3. Start on the lowest pressure setting, especially if you're new to water flossing.
  4. Lean over the sink and place the nozzle inside your mouth before turning the OraJet on.
  5. Keep your lips slightly closed to minimize splashing while allowing the water to flow naturally into the sink.
  6. Direct the water along your gumline and between each tooth, slowly moving from one area to the next.
  7. Once finished, turn off your Brosse OraJet before removing it from your mouth.
  8. Remove the nozzle and empty any remaining water from the tank after use.

For the most comfortable experience, begin with a gentle setting and gradually increase the pressure as you get accustomed to using your Brosse OraJet.

Keep your Brosse OraJet Water Flosser clean and performing at its best with regular maintenance.

Step 1: Wipe the exterior

Turn off the OraJet before cleaning. Wipe the outside of the unit using a soft, damp cloth. For tougher residue, use a small amount of mild, non-abrasive cleanser.

Step 2: Clean the water tank

  • Remove the water tank from the unit.
  • Rinse thoroughly with clean, warm water.
  • For a deeper clean, wash using warm water and mild soap.
  • Rinse well and allow the tank to air dry completely before reattaching.

Step 3: Clean the internal water system

Mineral deposits may build up inside your OraJet over time.

  • Add a small amount of white vinegar to a full tank of warm water.
  • Run the solution through the OraJet until the tank is empty.
  • Refill the tank with clean, warm water and run it through again to thoroughly rinse the system.

Step 4: Clean the nozzle

  • Remove the nozzle from the OraJet.
  • Soak it for around 5 minutes in a mixture of 2 parts water and 1 part white vinegar or hydrogen peroxide.
  • Rinse thoroughly under warm water.
  • Allow it to air dry before using again.

For consistent water pressure and hygiene, regularly inspect your nozzle for buildup and replace it when necessary.

How Often Should You Clean Your OraJet?

For best performance, we recommend giving your Brosse OraJet a deeper clean every 1–3 months, depending on how frequently you use it and the mineral content of your water.

For best battery performance and longevity, fully charge your Brosse OraJet for 3 hours before first use.

Yes. Mouthwash and other suitable antibacterial rinses can be used with your Brosse OraJet, as long as they are properly diluted.

For best results:

  • Use no more than a 1:1 ratio of mouthwash to water.
  • After using mouthwash or another compatible additive, run at least half a tank of clean water through the OraJet to flush the internal water pathway.
  • Avoid solutions containing iodine, peroxide, baking soda, or concentrated water-insoluble oils such as tea tree oil, as these may affect performance and shorten the life of the unit.
  • Do not use salt or saline solutions in cordless handheld models.

If you regularly use mouthwash or other additives, we recommend giving your Brosse OraJet a thorough cleaning at least once a month.

If your Brosse OraJet has weak or no water flow, the nozzle may be clogged by mineral buildup or debris.

To check:

  1. Turn off the OraJet and remove the nozzle.
  2. Turn the unit on briefly without the nozzle attached and check if water flows from the opening.
  3. If water flows normally, the nozzle likely needs cleaning.

How to Clean the Nozzle

  • Remove the nozzle using the eject button.
  • Soak it in white vinegar or hydrogen peroxide for 5–7 minutes.
  • Rinse thoroughly under warm water.
  • Reattach the nozzle and test the water flow again.

Regular nozzle cleaning can help maintain consistent pressure and performance.
